With the tried and tested Pullex renovation system from ADLER, greyed and weathered cladding, balconies or canopies look like new again in no time at all. And all this in just a few work steps.

To do this, beforehand select the desired colour shade which the object is to receive after renovation. The ADLER colour fans or colour charts which are available from our ADLER Farbenmeister near you will help you to choose the right colour shade quickly and easily. All you have to do is select the final colour shade, the ADLER colour mixing system automatically suggests the appropriate primer colour shade.

The most important part of the renovation is now the substrate testing or pre-treatment. To this end, carry out a "nail test" to see whether the substrate has the necessary stability for a new coat of paint. The deeper the scratch marks you leave with your fingernail, the stronger you should brush the wood afterwards. Brushing is done with a brass wire brush, always along the wood fibre. If you don't want to brush by hand you can use a professional brushing machine, especially for large areas. Afterwards, break sharp edges with grain size 80 sandpaper. Even heavily weathered and horizontal boards are best sanded or brushed. Then thoroughly remove dust and dirt from the wood.

Now you can prime the pre-treated wood with Pullex Renovier-Grund. Highly absorbent wooden parts can be painted a second time "wet-on-wet" within half an hour. Make sure that you achieve a beautiful, even colouring. The surface should be uniformly coloured but not fully opaque. You can easily avoid visible brush stroke applications by painting board by board

After the specified drying time of at least 12 hours you can apply the first glaze coat with Pullex Top-Lasur in the desired colour shade. Here, too, you should always coat board by board to prevent visible brush stroke applications. After a further drying time of 12 hours, the second glaze coat can be applied.

For colourful or opaque renovation coats, we recommend a double topcoat of Pullex Color as an alternative to Pullex Top-Lasur.

In the process, sharp edges should be rounded off. The complete surface should be sanded again with grain size 120 before priming.
