FAQs

On all our trading units and labels you will find the most important information on possible dangers and also safety instructions for processing ("H and P phrases").

If you have any further questions about this, please feel free to contact us directly.
If required, we can also send you a safety data sheet for our products. Please note that safety data sheets always refer to the "liquid" product and never to the dried surface of a paint.

In order to meet the requirements for the painting of children's toys, the products are tested according to standard EN 71-3 ("Safety of toys").

This information can be found e.g. on the label or in our technical data sheets in the section "Special properties/test standards" – all products where EN 71-3 is listed are suitable for the painting of children's toys.

Tested and suitable products, such as our ADLER Varicolor can also be recognised by a green rocking horse symbol on the container.

In general, ADLER places high demands on itself and its products, not only in terms of quality. We also focus on ecological and sustainable aspects. You can see which products specifically meet these requirements here:

Our Aviva interior wall paints have been awarded the Austrian eco-label (UZ17-Wandfarben).
The product ADLER Innenlasur also meets the criteria of the Austrian eco-label (UZ01-Lacke, Lasuren).

Several of our products have been awarded the Cradle-to-Cradle (C2C) certificate. This certificate considers the entire "service life" of a paint – from production and application through to disposal.
The products Pullex Aqua-Terra, ADLER Varicolor have been awarded the "C2C Bronze" certificate, Aviva Terra Naturweiß – our sustainable interior emulsion paint – even achieves the "C2C Silver" certificate.
