Passion for favorite places
Wellness & Living: Whether in the sauna or in the living room - Schroll joinery is completely dedicated to well-being. With a subtle combination of individual planning, state-of-the-art technology and traditional craftsmanship, the team led by company boss Franz Scholl and his two daughters Katja and Lena create unique "favorite places" - places where people particularly enjoy spending time. And with its brand new company headquarters, the family business proves that the workplace can also be a favorite place: In the light-flooded, friendly premises, employees as well as customers and visitors feel completely at ease.
Homemade
The move to the new company building in the Egerer industrial estate near Chieming am Chiemsee, Bavaria, represents the biggest milestone in Schroll's eventful company history: Franz Schroll founded the company in 1991, in the meantime a converted hayloft served as a workshop. Perhaps this is where the love of cozy warmth with alpine flair comes from? In any case, the boss built his first sauna in 1999 and was initially ridiculed for it - but the home-made wellness facilities became a hit. Today, Schroll saunas heat up guests in prestigious hotels in Sölden, Munich and Oberbozen as well as those seeking warmth in their own homes. High-quality wellness and sauna areas for tourists and private individuals are the mainstay of the joinery - but Schroll has also made a name for itself as an expert in custom-made living solutions and joinery kitchens. In addition, complete designs are created for the furnishing of high-quality vacation apartments and private homes. "We provide customers with overall interior design concepts in 3D, which they can even use for advertising purposes before completion," emphasizes Katja Schroll.
Thinking ahead
Giving the various areas space and presenting them in an appealing way was one reason why the Schroll family decided to embark on the major project of building a new company building. The other was the desire to offer the 30 or so employees attractive workplaces. And in just eleven months of construction time, it was possible to bring these concerns under an elongated roof - a roof in which coatings from the long-standing paint partner ADLER play a formative, coloration-giving role. Just like the rest of the building!
Splendid colors
"We finished the little-used furnishing elements in the offices, the entrance area, the showrooms and even the wild oak toilet with Arova spray stain in the trendy sand oak color and painted them with Aduro natural matt, " reveals Katja Schroll. For the impressive, honeycomb-shaped ceiling made of knotty spruce, the Arova Alpine Trend stain in the color Rosi was used. Aduro Antiscratch in the ultra-matt Gloss level G05 ensures resistance in the Stüberl, which serves as a team area. And the fine ash wood of the exhibition kitchen is once again given its beautiful light look by Arova spray stain - but this time in the color white - and slightly whitish colored Aduro Antiscratch. And the roof? Here, the rafters in the outdoor area were coated with Lignovit Color STQ in RAL 7016 anthracite grey and the sandwich panels of the soffit were designed with Aviva Acryl-Color in the same color as the frost apron in the workshop area - where many new favorite places are now being created under the best conditions, after extensive consultation in the beautiful showrooms and competent planning in the inviting offices!
