Sanding mats

Whether you want to sand curves or edges, sanding mats are the perfect choice thanks to their particular flexibility. They can be used universally for processing wood as well as metal. Sanding mats are a practical tool for intermediate sanding after the first coat of paint.

Sanding fleece

Non-woven abrasive cloths are used in particular for roughening, smoothing, deburring or cleaning surfaces, e.g. when degreasing metal. Maintenance oils can also be easily massaged into wooden surfaces with a fine non-woven abrasive. In combination with ADLER wood oils, a particularly great result is achieved.

Sanding discs

We recommend paying attention to the grit size when buying abrasives. This is an important measure of the subsequent removal rate. The higher the grit size, the finer the grain on the sandpaper and therefore the finer the sanding pattern.

- Up to grit size 80: Very coarse sandpaper is best used for removing rust, for example.

- Grit 100 to 150: This abrasive is suitable for sanding before primer coats and paintwork. Also for wood sanding!

- Grit 180 to 240: This sandpaper is ideally used for intermediate sanding of high-quality paintwork.

- From grit 240: The very fine sandpapers are used for intermediate sanding of high-quality paint finishes.
