Pullex Primer-Reno from ADLER: The great professional for wood renovation

When it comes to renovating and refurbishing old wooden surfaces, ADLER has always been ahead of the game - and with the new Pullex Primer-Reno, it's now even quicker and easier to get that like-new look!

It is the supreme discipline of building design: treating old, weathered, grayed wooden surfaces so that they look like new! Austria's leading wood preservation expert ADLER developed a unique renovation system for this decades ago. Since then, five million square meters (!) of wood have been beautified - just by brushing, priming and painting. But after more than a quarter of a century, it was now time to give this proven high-flyer a little more oomph: Pullex Imprägniergrund Renovierfarbe became Pullex Primer-Reno! Sounds simpler and faster? It is too!

Faster, better, stronger

Through intensive test series, constant raw material screening and long-term weathering tests, we have succeeded in improving the basic coating all round: Whereas previously, especially in poor weather conditions, a relatively long Drying times slowed down the urge to renovate, work can now continue after just six to eight hours, i.e. on the same day. This also makes it easier to combine with water-based top coats, which are becoming increasingly popular. "We have also optimized the coating setting so that a drip-free, more pleasant application is possible," reveals Rainer Troppmair, the responsible ADLER development manager. However, the very good penetration capacity into the substrate and the brightening and levelling effect remain the same. The integrated film protection prevents mold and algae infestation.

Natural wood beauty

Pullex Primer-Reno can be tinted in a wide variety of colors to match the desired finish. It is semi-covering, but does not form layers, which reliably prevents annoying flaking. The natural, beautiful character of the wood is not masked, but is retained. After two top coats with Pullex Top glaze finish, Pullex Top matt glaze finish or Pullex 2in1 Top-Color for a colorful design, balconies, wooden facades & Co. look beautiful again - well-maintained and protected for many more decades! And by the way: In combination with Pullex Window Glaze Finish, Pullex Primer-Reno is also perfect for renovating dimensionally stable components such as windows or doors.

April makes everything new

To coincide with the start of the new painting season, Pullex Primer-Reno will be available from April as the very first product in the new ADLER can design. So keep your eyes open the next time you visit the ADLER master painter - the prima primer is waiting to turn old into new!
