Water-based paints are the smart choice for strong surfaces. The low-emission coatings are not only good for the environment & climate, but also for painters and their customers: Safety risks are reduced, there is no unpleasant solvent odor and the rooms can be used immediately after the work has been completed. And above all: modern water-based paints meet the highest quality standards, from uncomplicated application and rapid drying to resistant and flawless surfaces. At ADLER, professional painters will find the right product for every application: from insulating primers to the new Aqua-Filler and top coats in every color - even in a particularly elegant ultra-matt version on request.

Right from the ground up

(Renovation) coatings on old wood substrates are a very special challenge. Degraded wood extractives or old coatings can penetrate through the top coat and cause discoloration, and nicotine, water or grease stains also often cause problems. ADLER has developed the Aqua-Isoprimer CT PRO (new product name from 2026: Vivido Aqua-Primer ISO CT) for this purpose: With the help of modern cationic technology, stains and wood extractives are reliably isolated, while the primer coat guarantees perfect adhesion. For coatings on plastic and metal, simply use the rust protection primer coat Aqua-Multiprimer PRO (new: Vivido Aqua-Primer Multi).

Well filled

The latest addition to ADLER's water-based paint range is Vivido Aqua-Filler: an opaque primer with high filling power, ideal for filling small cracks and unevenness, for example on interior doors, wall or ceiling panels. With short drying times and excellent sandability, the filler is easy to apply and guarantees smooth, even surfaces.

What color should it be?

Once all the preparatory work has been completed, all that is missing is the final building block for successful painting: the water-based top coat Aqua-Nova PRO (new: Vivido Aqua-Finish Nova), a true all-rounder. In any color, matt or semi-gloss - a permanently beautiful surface is always guaranteed, as the paint is extremely resistant, color-stable and non-yellowing. Alternatively, you can also use the Vivido Varicolor universal paint - for indoors and outdoors, for any substrate and any color, reliable and uncomplicated. For a particularly matt look, ADLER has Vivido Aqua-Edelmatt in its range. The paint provides a dull matt, mineral finish on ceilings and walls, furniture and radiators - and visible ventilation and cable ducts, metal supports or concrete elements can also be painted with a uniform look.

Carefree processing

Functionality and surface quality are one thing - the processing properties are no less important. "Our goal is to make work easier for ADLER customers with our products," emphasizes Alexander Ringler, division manager for the painter & paint trade. ADLER's range of water-based paints leaves nothing to be desired: The products are coordinated in their system structure, score points for their good flow, high stability and short drying times and can be applied universally - even with a spray gun for the efficient coating of large surfaces. "Efficiency is a key success factor for every painting company," emphasizes Alexander Ringler. "With our paints, we offer reliable problem solvers for every application - even for particularly challenging tasks."
