Once again, the Austrian water-based paint pioneer ADLER is setting new standards in sustainability: Bluefin Terra-Resist is produced from around 75 per cent natural and renewable raw materials, and the cured paint film consists largely of organic base materials. Added to this is an extremely low VOC content and an environment-friendly manufacturing process at the ADLER plant in Tyrol. This makes Bluefin Terra-Resist the ideal solution for sustainable surface finishing that takes environmental and health considerations seriously – for virtually all areas of furniture making and interior design. Thanks to its excellent chemical and mechanical resistance, as well as outstanding resistance to cream and grease, this single-component varnish can also be used on heavily used furniture surfaces.

A varnish for every occasion

Furthermore, Bluefin Terra-Resist impresses with its enormous versatility. As a multi-coat varnish, it can be applied directly to numerous types of wood, including oak, and is also suitable for stripping coloured coatings. The 1K varnish is straightforward to apply and stands out for its rapid drying time and high stability on horizontal surfaces. Bluefin Terra-Resist ensures a pleasant, rich finish and a harmonious appearance with good transparency and natural grain highlighting. A high-performance UV protection package prevents the wood from yellowing and stops discolouration or fading of stained and coloured-varnished surfaces. Bluefin Terra-Resist thus combines everything a modern joinery workshop needs: a sustainable, high-performance and reliable all-rounder for all standard applications in surface finishing.
