Sanding pads

Whether you want to sand rounded edges or sharp corners, sanding pads are the perfect choice thanks to their particular degree of flexibility. They can be used universally for both woodworking and metalworking operations. Sanding pads are a practical tool for intermediate sanding after the first coat of paint or varnish.

Sanding fleeces

Sanding fleeces are particularly useful for roughening up, smoothing or deburring surfaces or for cleaning them, e.g. when degreasing metal. You can also use a fine sanding fleece to work oil into a wooden surface as an after-care measure. If you use it with one of ADLER's wood oils, you'll be sure to get an especially good result.

Sanding discs

We recommend paying particular attention to grain size when purchasing sanding materials. This is an important gauge for later performance in terms of how much material is removed. The higher the grain size, the finer the grains on the sandpaper and thus also the ultimate sanded finish.

• Up to a grain size of 80: this very rough sandpaper is best suited to removal – for example, of rust.
• Grain size 100 to 150: this sandpaper is suitable for sanding before applying a primer or a paint or varnish. And also for sanding wood!
• Grain size 180 to 240: this sandpaper is ideal for intermediate sanding of top-quality paint and varnish jobs.
• Grain size 240 and up: this very fine sandpaper is used for intermediate sanding of top-quality paint and varnish jobs.
